The ReWalk company promotes the benefits of ReWalk in spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Rehabilitation Centres could use this as a part of rehabilitation and also to allow patients try it out for suitability for potential personal use.
Training with ReWalk Rehabilitation allows walking, standing, sitting and the capacity to ascend/descend stairs in the rehab center environment. It provides a unique means of exercise and therapy. It also allows someone to evaluate their capacity for using a system for home use in the future. The system is adjustable for different users, and can accommodate a range of heights (160 to 190 cm / ~63 to ~75 inches) or weights (up to 100 kg / ~220 pounds). The key
Requirements for use of the ReWalk is that you must be able to use you hands and shoulders for crutch walking. Have a healthy bone density and cardiovascular system. I want to add that i did read somewhere that C7 quads may be able to use the system also but im sure the company can clarify this or the rehab centre that uses them.
Benefits of use: Practical:
Upright Walking
All day mobility
Access to buildings and areas without ramps
Performing tasks like cooking and work bench activities
Ability to reach objects in high places
Increased independence
Social Benefits Eye to eye conversations
Participation in standing environments such as receptions, during presentations or a visit in a bar
And costs more than many luxury cars and some small houses.
If they are purchases privately, i believe the cos is $60,000 Lets hope that the rehabilitation centres provide them during inpatient rehab and maybe the insurance companies will also have to take some responsibility. Im sure the health benefits will potentially save them this amount and more, if they look at it this way.

I personally hope that these are used in rehabilitation too. Maybe the company will give free to the rehab centres because i can imagine that some will buy them to have for personal use at home.
I would use this because i do worry about keeping fit and this might help keep my butt in shape
