Hello :-) I hope im putting this is the right section! I have something wierd going on. Esp when in in bed i can feel odd things im my legs. The only way i can describe it is 'popping' like bubbles poping everywhere. I have different feeling in parts of my legs so do you think my nerves are waking up and healing now?

I think you may find that yes its the nerves..they do try to 'jump start' but at this stage its a little too early to know if they are going to regenerate...You are early into your injury so there will no doubt be some improvements and especially with CES because you were operated on in good time.
It is hopeful BUT everyone is so different..i did get these 'popping' feelings that you describe but eventually they sibsided and nothing improved but my scenario is different to yours..Yes its all wierd lol

Hey izabella, that's something I've never felt before. Definitely sounds nerve related. It could possibly be from nerve regeneration indeed!
Thanks for replying, yeah i think il wait and see what happens, i hope its a good sign and then i wont moan when this happens every night . Its annoying!
izabella, I used to get a similar sensation, but now it's more of an electrical shock feeling. I was told it is nerves sending signals out, but not getting to the next nerve they're trying to communicate with because some nerves are damaged or dead. This causes the bubble-popping, shocking, and burning sensations that we feel. It definitely could be because your nerves are waking up, or trying to. Every injury is different, and as an incomplete, I know it's tough to know what your body is doing, and there are a lot of changes in the first year and a half. I lost function and sensation after my last surgery, so I hope you don't require any more and can stay on the road you're on.
Not sure what's going on with me - today getting constant spasms in legs/hips . . .
I hope they settle hobbit..Be sure you dont have a UTI or anything...?
Ive started with these crazy electric shock things that literally feel like an electric shock and a strong one at that!..Ive never had them before like this.

Oh...damn..i hope you get seen today hobbit and get meds for it....You spasms should settle too. In the meantime if you want to take something bicarbonate of soda is great for UTI's.

Thankyou for explaining Knight, it makes sense. I figure my nerves are wrecked so i aint holding my breath haha
You have a great attitude Izabella. I was told in the beginning it was a good sign, nerves trying to reconnect, blah..blah..etc. The truth for me at least was some may have been good, some are just damaged nerve pain. Some people it lessens or goes away. I still have it 4yrs. later. Hoping your on the goes away side. Mark

Scared Booktrout early one morning. I'd been shocking for about 8hrs. straight, three spots all firing at the same time, which means no break in between. I was soaked screaming and had tears rolling out of my eyes. She put her head on my chest my heart was racing so fast she thought it was going to blow. I just keep in my mind that eventually they will stop.
