I'm a c2 incomplete and in a power chair, my left side is weaker. My right arm is pretty good but could be strengthened, trying to bring my left arm along as best I can. I wouldn't want to take the stand apart, just be able to move it from room to room. I hope to figure out a few basic ways to focus on strength training that will open up more function and reach for my potential.

If the stand is designed as pictured in the video, maybe even with longer supporting legs, it should be able to be angled through a doorway--maybe by a helper? Wouldn't it just be easier to watch a movie on your laptop, easily moved, while you exercise!!! Then you could leave your workout set-up ready to use, and would be more likely to do it. At least, that's how it works for me...if I have to spend energy getting set up, I have less for the workout, and my energy is very limited. I admire your determination to get to the best place you can be physically, and imagine that your efforts will also have great emotional and pain relief benefits. No telling where this will take you, no limits!!!

Yeah my left arm was weaker in the beginning but is now pretty much the same as my right arm after all these years of physio. Like wavewolf said, I like your determination! Keep it up and you'll have a strong upper (and lower) body in no time
I'm definitley trying to figure out a few things where I don't have to spend time and energy on setup. I've been injured quite a few years, but I always know I have unlimited potential that hasn't even been pushed yet. My idea right now is try to find a few basic workouts that work a big group of muscles that will produce strength. I came up with pullups for back and squats for legs. I don't think I'm set up to do them as effectively as I could yet but I'm still working on it. I have lots of ideas but realized in all my ideas and thinking that in the mean time I still need to be putting in the workouts to the best of my ability and make any kind of progress that I can. The last few weeks I do believe I have seen progress, maybe little but still. I'm working on a video that shows some of what I can do and hope to get some good feedback and ideas from it. Thanks for the kind words guys, don't ever give up, we can always improve. I think we can all help each other with ideas. I appreciate you guys taking the time to answer and help.

Hey it's better late than never! It's great that you're trying to regain what you can and a video showing what you're capable of would be awesome! It'd definitely help us all think of different exercise ideas that you'd be capable of doing. Like you said, we can always improve as long as we put in the work so never give up indeed
