Wondering if there's an exerciser with a seat that actually moves your legs fully back or forward? Like knees to chest for a good stretch? And arms and shoulders, like bars or handles that assist you? I'm not sure how to describe what I'm thinking of but it would be awesome if there was a piece of equipment that helped move your arms and legs while you were seated. Even if it needed your help. Maybe like an eliptical movement? I hope there's something out there like this.

Hey abacoian, I was thinking something like an elliptical as well. Have you heard of the iCare? This is a video of our member kevin trying it out!
I had not heard of that but that is pretty awesome. Way back when I was at a therapy program I actually used the treadmill and an eliptical with the harness. Definitley a great benefit. I'm thinking of one that you can sit securely on and move your legs and arms. Yes standing is better but I'm thinking if you don't have someone to help you up and into the system or to stay with you while you use it for an hour that a safe seated one would be great.
I'm thinking of something like this maybe with a little better seat and maybe the arm handles can be reached and used while sitting. The ones specifically for people with disabilities and a lot more bulk than this one cost in the thousands, I think this one is $399. I'm hoping there is something similar and maybe cost a little less. It'b be cool if you could design your own exercise bike. There are so many options out there, I'd like to find something that will really help instead of thinking I need countless pieces of equipment. I like the way the arms are on this one, and the pedals are ok, they seem like they would promote natural leg and arm movements and maybe help with range of motion.
abacoian, ahh ok I know what you mean now! I too would prefer to be seated while working out my arms and legs. That cardio cruiser looks good especially at $200! I don't know how good the build quality is though. Just by reading the review on Amazon it looks like an alright machine apart from a really annoying squeak - www.amazon.com/Body-By-Jake-Cardio-Cruiser/dp/B000GX6WXU
If you think you can keep it lubricated and put up with it, it seems like it'd be a good machine to have
The one for $199 is quite an older product, but I think maybe they still sell it. It seems like there would something similar and current not a few thousand dollars that could assist in moving your limbs and promote rom. I'm interested in the eliptical too because my wife was interested in one, if we could both use it, bonus.

I think you can buy it from that Amazon link I posted above haha. Oh do you think you have enough upper and lower body strength for the elliptical? I wasn't sure if you could or not!
