I'm thinking of a few exercises that a weight pulley / cable system would help achieve but they aren't cheap. Does anyone know of an affordable system?
A former PT made his own 'system with ropes, pulleys and bags of sand in various weights. All were mounted through something a bit like the reenforcement for concrete in a sidewalk but it was tougher and painted white. A handle tied to one end of a rope and the other end tied to a bag of sand can be threaded through a large "eye" and screwed in anywhere it works in your home.

Thanks,
As you get stronger you can both shorten the bands and get heavier bands. Since I've taken this photo, I also added floor mats. I get onto the floor to do back extensions and assisted sit ups. I have to put some of those 5 lb ankle weights on my legs to keep them straight.
It's inexpensive to setup, just bands and a way to attach them to the wall.

I think you should search on net there might York barbell ST cable, Fabrication enterprises, Endorphin wall mount pulley are some of the system which may help you to pull your weight. I would like to suggest that one of my friends was over weighted and wanted to lose her weight. He started exercising and walking but was not able to reduce his weight. And then he came to know about the weight loss nut which actually worked and he now has reduced his weight to more than 15 kgs. He looks awesome than before without doing much effort. And always keep on suggesting me to take this nuts, actually he want me to loss weight.

I've never found any exercise worthwhile, that didn't involve a great deal of effort. I gather you outside the U.S., since you used kilograms, why the U.S. hasn't changed over is beyond me. We don't harp on people about filling out their profiles, but it does help explain better where your coming from. You seem to have some background in exercise, which I agree is a very important to those with SCI. susanritter
