Hi everyone,
Christmas is here and New Years is right around the corner! I know many of you are going to be drinking and partying including me. I'm just here to remind you to never drink and drive! Safety first. I would rather pay an extra 30 dollars for a taxi then lose my life, a family members life, a friends life, or end the life of a complete stranger.
Have fun this holiday season, but put your head in gear! Not the car. I know shawzfun agrees with me!

We just had very sad news in our town of 500. We have 2 bars here and one had their x-mas party a coulple of days ago. When the party was over one of the employee's got stuck after the party not a half mile from town. She started walking, and ended up being the victum of a hit and run. Her body was dragged some distance. Nobody was arrested but in this small town it didn't take long to figure out that it was another employee going home from the same party. Rumor has it (lots of that in a town of 500) that the police ran a DNA test of the suspects undercarrige. This is a grusome story that drives home Deaner's message.

I used to drink and drive DJ. I could be the driver of the hit and run, Deaner or Shazfun. I'm just one of the lucky ones that got away without too many scratches. I over did it last night, had 2 beers, Booktrout drove home. The buzz just isn't worth the consequences.

Oh wow, very lucky that nothing bad has happend eh? It's good that you're not drinking and driving no more though, it's just not worth it!

Wow kilg0retr0ut that's very sad news. I completely agree with you, it is never worth it to drink and drive. Even if you had one drink and don't even feel a buzz, if you get pulled over you can lose your license, get fined, get charged, get your car impounded, and raise your insurance rates.
Now you tell me, is paying $30 worth avoiding that?

It takes some of us longer to learn than others and some never learn. Seems so simple, even common sense, yet alcohol changes people. I don't like loosing control, and thats what happens when I drink to excess. Your doing a great thing Deaner. This has been said before, but even if you only reach one person, it's worth all your hard work.

When I give my presentation I say no one is holding your hands now. You will have to make the right decision yourself. Thanks kilg0retr0ut! I try my best to get my message across loud and clear

In the UK its become very taboo to drink and drive as some time ago there was some heavy promoting of drink driving prevention though im sure many still do it .
I think what deanertheweiner does is an effective and direct way of reaching out to the future drivers and making them aware of the serious harm it can cause.
deanertheweiner, you are a very wise young man, it's a pity that young people just don't think of the consequences of their actions (and older people for that matter). So I hope everyone takes notice of this post.
