I bought a TiLite ZRA used, great chair. Satin titanium, 25" Spinergy wheels with black spokes, 5" casters. Using solid wheels, and they seem OK. Have Invacare Matrix hard back, really great! Need Stimulite seat cushion to manage heat, because I am fighting skin breakdown, and would love to get Natural Fit handrims--saving up. Medicare no longer funds fitted ultralight chairs, so don't know what I'll do when this wears out. My body will probably wear out first...
You really lucked out with that chair eh wavewolf! Don't worry, when the time comes for a new chair I'm sure you'll find one again like you did with this chair

It was incredible blessing to get this chair! Needed the adjustability for first fitted chair, and it came with all the options I would have chosen myself. Sad part was that the young quad died who had set it up, but I got to know his father a bit and it made him feel good that someone would really appreciate the chair and how it would empower their living.
I don't know how you can get around with solid tyres wavewolf, if you tried air tyres I'm sure you would notice the difference, I use Schawalbe Marathon plus tyres, great tyre and puncture proof, so they say.
Butiki, I also use the Marathon Plus tires and I think they're great! I don't go on rough terrain much but I use my chair almost everyday and these tires are like brand new!

My hands hurt so much with RA, and I want to save them for playing music. Doubt I could inflate tires with hand pump, or repair a flat. I'm good mechanically, but tendons are shredding, scary stuff.
I'd like to try a chair with the Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires--they seem to be a favorite, except on carpet.

wavewolf, they're a bit tough on carpet but I think most tires would be. I think you'll like these tires once you try them out
I've had such good luck with these new tires I got. I like my air tires, wouldn't have anything else on my wheels! I have Kenda Kobra tires. They are AMAZING in the snow, ice, and mud. There is a little noise while rolling on flat hard floors, but where I live, those are only at Walmart! Haha
