Well here I am still in bed waiting for Jenny to help me with my second go at the peristeen system. Yesterday we had mixed results, we got the poo out but about half an hour after Jenny left I was putting a load of washing in the machine and I bent forward in my chair and the last of the water exploded out, lol, so today we will make sure all the water is out before I shower and start my day . But so far I'm happy with it, no poo accidents during the day or overnight, a very pleasant change. Will keep you all up to date

oh heck Butiki....you will get the hang of this yet...first day so hiccups are allowed
Butiki, other than that hiccup you've had I'm glad you're happy with it! Everything will certainly get better over time and like Lαrα has said, 3 weeks will fly right by
Give me a week and I will give you all the details, so far so good
ooh a happy banana moticon and a dancing one.....i like it! and yes we want all the details pls......with nothing missed out..bowel talk is right at home here lol
Well 8 days latter, no accidents at all, have woken up clean every morning And don't have that full tummy feeing, but will give it another week before I start wearing normal underpants, lol. So I am very happy so far, my nurse was telling me on Friday that a colostomy was my next option, ands that's a road I refuse to go down
Butiki, that's excellent news! I'm glad it's worked out for you mate. It'll be a nice feeling wearing normal underpants and not worrying about having an accident As for the colostomy, that's a path I will never take either. Ever!
Haha Butiki.....a good lesson learnt eh? but thankyou for the tip, im sure it may help someone who does the same ........indulging comes at a price lol

Butiki, i use the peristeen system and i love how it has given me my life back in the terms of no accidents and i can now make plans to go out places with my family. It took me a few weeks to get into it but im always good to go now lol
Shame you have to pay for it though, we are very lucky here in the UK because there is no cost for us.
