Bensan, it is normal to take things out on those closest to you because they are there and will most likely stay there. That doesn't mean it is right. But I guess you know that. Exercise is a good thing even if you can't do much. I used to have a very simple punching bag, just plastic filled with air. That helped. A good walk can also take away some of the stress and I need to get out and do that more.
sorry it took so long to get into this discussion. I usually try to keep busy doing whatever it is I can do., Clean the garage, wash the car windows or anything else that keeps me away from my wife. I usually pick on her and that's not right. We talked about my behavior and she now stops me and gives me a look., I know then it's time to relax and get a hold of my anger.
Hey bensan, it's good that you're distracting yourself from being around her and picking on her. As Lαrα has mentioned, people certainly release their anger to those they're closest with so don't worry you're not alone. If you ever need to rant or need some cheering up, we're all here for you
Thank you everyone for the advise. I'm still trying to figure this whole thing out. I absolutely love this site, everyone here is an inspiration to me. I like being able to read what people with similar problems do to get through this.

Thank you kisch5, I'm really happy to hear that! It's helpful getting feedback from people in similar situations eh!
OK folks, no more complaining about the cold weather in Pennsylvania. We moved to our Florida home for the next 6 months. I am going to try and ride my wife's over sized tricycle. I only have to find a way to keep my feet on the pedals. Even with my braces my feet slide off. I am going to try Velcro or bungee cords.

I couldn't get my sliding feet to stay on the pedals at the gym either. I am thinking superglue? Or it might be better just to somehow tie my shoes on to the pedals.

Hi there, I am a little scared. After much too-ing and fro-ing I finally saw a private dr this morning about my lower back pain and sciatica. It ended up with him doing a rectal examination and providing me around there with a pin. I could feel dulled provoking sensation but when he did it on my wrist or anywhere else it felt sharp. He said I had poor tone in my back passage. I am waiting on a call to go for an emergency not of my whole spine, not just the lumber, where my pain is. Any thoughts please. Trying to convince myself it's all down to age, lol (47) Many thanks xx
