Well today I got about 30 metres, all the way out to reception to say hi to my favorite receptionist Alysia It nearly killed me but it was worth it, but had to use the wheelchair back to the gym to finish my exercises
I am sure that you will start to feel stronger as you go along now. I can remember when i was at the stage you are now. My therapist decided i was doing real well and said we were going to try with crutches. I was horrified at the thought....'but il have nothing in front of me'
When i started with the crutches it felt so strange and was a totally different experience than using a walker but you do become more confident and get stronger.
I am sure you will progress onto crutches...keep it up Butiki....your doing so so well
Today my physio inflicted a new form of torture on me, she got me riding a bike we are starting at 3 minutes Wednesday she wants 5 minutes and slowly building up to 10 minutes. She straps my feet to the peddles and off I go, lol, I enjoy it but it's very very tiring even for only 3 minutes. I will get a video on Wednesday and get our fearless leader to post it for me P.S the bike doesn't go anywhere.....
