Well today I walked about 5 metres using one of those small walking frames, I call them old mans walking frames, instead of my elbow support frame, it was great, really gave me a strange sense of freedom, don't ask me why. But I don't trust myself to get one for home just yet, maybe after Christmas when I'm that much stronger. I am starting to realize that I AM making some real progress now.

That's excellent Butiki, I'm really glad to hear how well you're progressing! The hard work is really paying off eh

My PT has now come up with a new form of torture for me, it's calla Pilates machine, it's a sliding table thing, I put my feet on a bar and straighten my legs, a bit like squatting laying down, there are 5 springs, they can remove or increase the springs for more or less resistance, I'm on 5 when I use both legs and 4 when I'm using one leg? I'm doing 40 pushes or squats with both legs on 5 and 15 squats for each leg at 4. I know I have done it when I'm finished, knees are very shaky and I can really feel it around my knees and upper thighs. I will send a video to DJ to post for me.
Ha i love how you call it torture Butiki...so funny
Sounds like your physio is really helping you strengthen those muscles..im looking forward to seeing the video. It is so important to keep working hard at this
Well today I graduated to the parallel bars and managed to go back and forth 12 times, it's approximately 3 meters each way. I'm very proud of myself after that, now my P/T is talking crutches But I don't know about that just yet, a bit scary really. What worries me about crutches is there is nothing in front of me to grab if I start falling forward......... But if I can use them I will.
Well I will be redundant and repeat what lots of people have said in these last five pages. WOW, you rock Butiki!! It's great to see your progress and endurance increase!! I had to stop myself from commenting after each video and each new hurdle you're overcoming. Keep up the great work. You must be sleeping well at night.
I like the 10 rules they have at Walk it off: (hope I can figure out how to post this picture)
