That's not good Lαrα. Have you tried other antibiotics or just one? Perhaps you've gotten resistant to them?
Hello DJ. You have my sympathies, mate. Autonomic dysreflexia is a killer. Full bladders or bowels are sure to provoke the horrible's, that is a life-threatening dysreflexia attack. My bladder is as flaccid as a deflated tire, a balloon that lost all its air. Nevertheless there is a critical volume of around 800 mL, beyond which I start to spasm and experience extreme back pain and blood pressure. I have to push up high, my hands on the rims of my wheels and my body as straight as possible. It drains beautifully then. Like you I wear a sheath or condom which drains into a leg bag. I have a colostomy which helps with my bowels. Nevertheless if I have a huge bowel output my blood pressure is sure to go through the roof. The important thing is to recognise the signs and know how to treat it. I have nifedipine on hand, take a bit under the tongue when necessary. The trick is to keep my bladder and bowels as empty as possible. Time to stop writing and drain it. Here we go. Strain, squeeze, sweat and dribble. Ahhhh ... how beautiful. Just going to empty my bag now. Or should I say, 'get some help to empty my bag now'. Now it's time for a crap. Do you remember those good times before your injury when it was so wonderful and sweet to flip out your tackle and just let your bladder empty by itself, how beautiful a sensation it was to feel your bladder draining. Such sweet memories.
What are those bladder issues, over time, Califanna?
How will botox injections work in the long run lorainedf . Is there a certain amount you can have? Anyone used botox injections long term?
But, I plan to have them indefinitely.
